True worship is a lifestyle. It is an outward expression of an inward work of God! When our hearts and lives have been touched by God Himself, we respond to Him with thanksgiving, praise and worship. Worship is simply letting God know that we believe He is worthy of our praise and adoration.
Our times of worship can be exuberant and joyful. They can be quiet and reflective. They can be meditative as we wait upon Him. They can be unique and creative, and incorporate the arts and the ministry of dance.
Most important in all of our worship is that our hearts are open and yielded to our Creator; that we truly honor Christ as King and "connect" with Him in personal, precious and powerful ways. He is the reason for our worship, the focus of our worship, and the wonder of our worship. We express our love to Him because He first loved us!
Regardless of where you are in your journey with God--haven't begun, not sure, just started, or well on the way--there will be plenty of opportunities to connect with God. Don't be concerned about how to dress, the mess you may be going through, what others may think, or what you "should" do. Come as you are. Many of us have been--or are--right where you find yourself. Ask God if He is real, and if so, to meet you right where you are. You won't be sorry!
Join us Saturday evenings at 5 p.m. for a Spirit-filled celebration that confirms the hope that is ours in Christ Jesus. We look forward to getting to know you.
